Titans vs Raiders

Two teams that bettors are backing to challenge the New England Patriots in the AFC this season will clash in Nashville on Sunday as the Tennessee Titans host the Oakland Raiders as small home favorites.

Titans vs Raiders Live

The Titans lost a tiebreaker with the Houston Texans for the AFC South title last season while the Oakland Raiders hope to make another run at the AFC West crown.

NFL point spread: The Titans opened as one-point favorites; the total was 53 early in the week, according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark. (Line updates and matchup report)

Derek Carr was an MVP candidate last year and has thrown for more than 3,000 yards in each of his first three seasons. He has 12 career fourth-quarter comebacks or game-winning drives. Running back Marshawn Lynch comes out of Titans vs Raiders retirement to return to the NFL, playing for his hometown team after sitting out last season. The Titans surrounded Marcus Mariota with numerous receiving threats this offseason, but Corey Davis and Eric Decker are coming off injuries that limited their playing time this preseason.

he Titans are currently 2 point favorites at Nissan Stadium against the Oakland Raiders. Vegas will typically give the home team 3 points, so this game is basically a pick ‘em (the line opened as Titans -3).

The total here is 50.5. It is the second highest week 1 total. Only the Seahawks @ Packers has a higher total (51). When is the last time the Titans were in the 2nd highest total game in a week as the favorite. I would be willing to bet that the last time it happened Steve McNair was the quarterback.

If you are one who likes to partake in games on DraftKings and/or FanDuel, this will be a heck of a game to stack up. Guys like Marcus Mariota, Delanie Walker, Derek Carr and Amari Cooper should all put up really nice numbers.

Oakland was a very good road team a year ago, going 6-2 both straight up and against the spread. In fact, the Raiders won their first five road games last season, including a 17-10 victory at Tennessee as a two-point chalk in Week 3. Oakland’s defense was the difference in that meeting, forcing three turnovers, with Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota throwing two interceptions.

This is an excellent matchup between two young signal callers, with Oakland’s Derek Carr looking to show he is fully healthy after breaking his leg toward the end of last year.

Seahawks vs Packers

Seahawks vs Packers This weekend, real professional football finally returns as the NFL begins the 2017 season. Arguably the best matchup on this Sunday’s slate of games involves the Green Bay Packers, as they square off with a team that has become quite the rival  perhaps the Packers’ biggest rival outside of the NFC North.

Seahawks vs Packers Live

Green Bay and Seattle are now perennial playoff teams and Super Bowl contenders, and the two teams share plenty of similarities and bonds. One common factor is in the front office, as Seahawks GM John Schneider worked for the Packers for several years before taking over in Seattle. There is also running back Eddie Lacy, who spent four years in Green Bay before signing with the Seahawks this fall.

Two of the top contenders to win the NFC lock horns on Sunday in what promises to be a highly-competitive game. The Seahawks bested the Packers in the NFC Conference championship a few years back and the Packers have gained a small amount of revenge by topping Seattle in their last two regular season matchups. Check out all the regular season NFL odds and betting on Sports Interaction.

The Packers opened as 3-point favourites (-115) on the Sports Interaction NFL odds board. Green Bay looks to build off its spectacular second half to last season when the team won eight games in a row before falling to the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship Game.

The Packers went 5-1 against the spread in their final six games last season and are 8-1-1 against the number in their last 10 home openers. The Seahawks went 3-4-1 straight up on the road last season and are 0-4 in their last four away games. Seattle was an underdog just five times over the last three regular seasons and the club went 3-1-1 in those contests.
